Steps: Support and Advice from Members to Members

In order for members to learn from and support each other in respect of future developments, EASPD proposes the development of a virtual self-help desk. An interactive page on our website, the knowledge centre on 'PCS and  CBS', will allow members to present models of good practice, to ask questions to other members and to present their views and ideas on barriers and problems that may arise.

EASPD will ask all its members to identify in their own organisation a specialist who has certain expertise in one of the domains that are of importance when we talk the  about the development of PCS or CBS.  The name, the contact details and the field in wich that person had expertise in, will be published on our virtual knowledge centre.  From the experts we ask only 1 hour per week to be available to give advice, to share information and to offer models of good practice. We also ask these experts to be available for writing one model of good practice every 6 months. On our knowledge centre we will publish all these models and EASPD is convinced that members will learn and benefit from it.

Implementation

  • The EASPD HQ will provide the management, the design and the development of the knowledge centre
  • Time cost for the members: average of 50 working hours per year
  • Benefits to members: knowlegde and network opportunities
