Did your service users previously live in an institution or other large establishment?

Some people lived in Bawnmore and Lota Park

 

Aims of this setting being set-up:

  • To become more integrated in community settings;

  • To become more involved in local clubs and activities;

  • To develop relationships with our immediate neighbours.

 

Outcomes

Residents are involved in shopping, going to church and some social activities. They are well respected and have never been discriminated where they live.We never experienced discrimination when buying houses.
